Servo
We had the opportunity to participate n the robotics competition at Cal State Long Beach, where our Robot Sunny showed off his basic skills navigating skills. Although he didn't win first place, we still love our little guy.
He was the only one at the competition to have a servo which rotated the fire sensor we installed on him.

Sonar
An ultrasonic sensor is very useful when you want to be able to identify an object without touching it. This Sonar sensor was used in our robot Sunny to detect the walls and the candle without bumping into them since it sends out a pulse and waits to hear it back so that it measures how far the object is from it
.
This was one of Sunny's strongest and reliable sensors, definitely enriched Sunny's performance.

Line Sensor
A line sensor detects the contrast between surfaces like color roughness or magnetic properties. We used a line sensor n our robot Sunny to detect the black line indicating the door of a room in the maze to explore. This sensor enabled Sunny to see the difference between black and white.
